Jesus Loves You!

 

Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matt. 11:28

Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3

I AM A GOOD PERSON. I HAVE NEVER HURT ANYONE, I PAY MY BILLS, AND I GIVE TO THE POOR. ISN'T THAT ENOUGH?

NO! The Word of God clearly says:

  1. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…" Titus 3:5

  2. "But are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags…" Isaiah 64:6

  3. "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 14:12

 

I BELONG TO A CHURCH AND A CERTAIN DENOMINATION, ISN'T THAT ENOUGH?

NO! The Bible clearly says:

  1. Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

  2. He also says in John 1:12, "But as many as receive him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name!"

In other words, you cannot save yourself, the pastor cannot save you, or any other person. For if they could Jesus would not have had to die on the cross for you.

WHY MUST I BE BORN AGAIN?

  1. Because the Bible clearly says in John 3:3, "Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." That means that if you are not born again you will go to hell. To be born again is your only guarantee of going to heaven. Some people use the term to be "saved." It means the same as born again.

  2. Because you are a sinner. The Bible says in Romans 3:23. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

  3. Because you are doomed for hell unless you are born again. For the Word of God says: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

 

WHO WILL SAVE ME FROM MY SINS?

JESUS! He has already provided salvation for you. For he says:

  1. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth (this word "believe" means to cling to, have total faith in and follow) in him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

  2. "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the spirit." 1 Peter 3:18

  3. "Who (Jesus) his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness by whose stripes ye were healed." 1 Peter 2:24

  4. "For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Corinthians 5:21

 

HOW CAN I BE BORN AGAIN?

The Bible states "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9. Don't put it off for the Bible says "…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Cor. 6:2

BOW YOUR HEAD & SAY THIS PRAYER OUT LOUD (RIGHT NOW)

FATHER, IN THE NAME OF JESUS

I BELIEVE YOU SENT YOUR ONLY SON TO DIE ON THE CROSS FOR ME AND MY SINS. I BELIEVE THAT JESUS ROSE AGAIN ON THE THIRD DAY AND THAT HE IS SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD ON HIGH. FORGIVE ME FOR ALL OF MY SINS. COME INTO MY HEART, JESUS, AND BE MY LORD AND SAVIOR. TAKE OVER MY LIFE AND MAKE ME INTO THAT PERSON YOU DESIRE FOR ME TO BECOME AND GUIDE ME TO THE RIGHT PLACE OF WORSHIP.

THANK YOU, JESUS. AMEN.

PRAYER FOR RECEIVING THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST

Father,
I come to you in Jesus name, and ask to receive your gift to me of the Holy Spirit because Jesus said it is a gift and I must ask you for it. (Luke 11:13); Jesus said believers shall speak with new tongues. (Mark 16:17); The book of Acts says believers were filled with the Holy Ghost and spoke with other tongues and spoke your word with boldness. (Acts 2:4, 10:45-46, 19:6, 4:29-31); The Bible further says that Jesus shall baptize me with the Holy Spirit. (Luke 3:16); Lord Jesus I ask you to baptize me now with the Holy Ghost and with evidence of my new prayer language.
